Privacy

Privacy-friendly by default.

The first version is designed to work without accounts, payment details or saved server profiles.

What the scanner sends

When you run a scan, the server receives the public URL you entered. It fetches that URL plus common support files such as robots.txt and sitemap.xml to produce the report.

What is stored locally

If you press Save scan, the report is stored in localStorage on your own device. The learning memory also uses localStorage to remember previous scores, resolved repairs and any notes you add. It is not a login account and it does not sync across devices.

Analytics and adverts

AI CiteReady uses Google Analytics to understand basic site usage, such as page views and which parts of the tool are used. Analytics should not be used to collect passwords, private hosting details or private website login information.

The app also includes reserved ad areas. Production analytics and advertising should avoid collecting personal information unless there is a clear privacy basis and consent setup.

Google advertising cookies

AI CiteReady may use Google AdSense to support the free scanner. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and improve adverts shown on this site and other websites.

Google may use advertising cookies to show adverts based on previous visits to this site or other sites. You can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.

For visitors in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, advertising consent controls should be provided through Google AdSense privacy messaging or another Google-certified consent management platform before personalised advertising is served.
